Are you passionate about aircraft safety and committed to maintaining the highest standards in aviation maintenance?
You will ensure the safety and operational readiness of our aircraft fleet by conducting comprehensive inspections, performing routine maintenance, and executing structural repairs on aircraft systems and components. In this role, you will take ownership of restoring aircraft to optimal condition through expert structural repairs and component replacements, with a particular focus on composite materials and advanced aircraft structures including the Boeing 787.
You can expect to conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, perform both wet lay-up and prepreg composite repairs in accordance with Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), and collaborate with your team to resolve complex technical challenges. You will maintain accurate maintenance records, adhere to GACA regulations and company policies, and contribute to minimizing aircraft downtime while enhancing reliability.
This is a critical role where your technical expertise will directly impact flight safety, operational efficiency, and Riyadh Air's commitment to excellence in aviation maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience- Diploma qualified in aviation management, engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of progressive experience in an aircraft maintenance environment, including 3+ years specifically maintaining aircraft composites and structures.
- Strong knowledge of Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), expertise in evaluating damage on composite aircraft structures (particularly Boeing 787), and proficiency in performing composite repairs using hot bonders.
- Analytical thinking, troubleshooting system malfunctions, and effective team collaboration.
- Bonus:
Boeing 787 Composite Repair Certification, GACA/FAA/EASA or other CAA Aircraft Maintenance License, and experience coaching/training new technical staff. - Ability to work efficiently under pressure while prioritizing safety and compliance.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform wet lay-up and prepreg composite repairs in accordance with SRMs.
- Carry out structural repairs and component replacements to restore aircraft to optimal condition.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and uphold company policies and GACA regulations.
- Collaborate with team to resolve complex technical challenges and minimize aircraft downtime.
- Contribute to reliability improvements and safe, efficient aviation maintenance operations.
