Quality Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineer with expertise in switch gear and medium voltage (MV) equipment to enhance quality operations in our factory. You will ensure all products meet customer specifications, comply with IEC standards, and maintain operational excellence. This role includes hands‑on quality testing, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop and implement quality control plans specifically for MV switch gear production.
• Perform and oversee inspection and testing of MV switch gear components, assemblies, and final products.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and ensure compliance with IEC and client standards.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing KPIs (defects, First Pass Yield, on‑time delivery) and drive corrective actions.
• Handle customer complaints and technical issues related to switch gear products and implement preventive measures.
• Support supplier evaluation and incoming material inspections for MV components.
• Ensure proper documentation of quality activities, inspections, and compliance with ISO standards.
• Promote occupational health and safety practices during switch gear production and testing.
• Implement emergency response procedures and ensure safe testing and assembly workflows.
• Train new employees on safety, quality procedures, and company standards.
• Complete all required documentation for regulatory compliance and customer audits

• Maintain accurate records of test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions.

• Diploma degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Bachelor preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality control and testing of switch gear and MV equipment
• Strong knowledge of IEC Standards for switch gear
• Experience with supplier evaluation, handling customer complaints, and FAT execution
