About the RoleAre you passionate about power plant engineering excellence and ensuring optimal engine fleet performance?
You will serve as a technical expert for aircraft power plant systems within Riyadh Air's Engineering Technical Services department, delivering operational excellence in support of the airline's vision to become one of the world's greatest service brands by ensuring the fleet is safe, compliant, reliable, on‑time, and defect‑free. This role exists to support airworthiness and engine fleet performance through specialized technical expertise, regulatory compliance support, and maintenance planning activities.
In this role, you will provide specialized technical analysis and support for power plant systems to optimize fleet performance, assisting in safe and compliant operations while contributing to operational cost efficiency and maintenance effectiveness. You will support implementation of Airworthiness Directives, mandatory modifications, Service Bulletins, and STCs through technical evaluation and analysis, ensuring compliance with GACA requirements and adherence to fleet airworthiness standards.
You can expect to assist in fleet configuration management activities, collaborate with reliability teams on fleet performance monitoring, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through participation in technical working groups. You'll maintain current knowledge of power plant engineering principles, support relationships with OEMs and approved providers for technical assistance, own and maintain the Extended Twin Engines Operations (ETOPS) programs ensuring compliance with the most up-to-date regulatory standards, and contribute to team interfaces that support continuous operations.
This is a critical role where your power plant expertise will directly enhance engine reliability, fleet performance, and Riyadh Air's operational excellence and safety standards.
About YouBachelor's degree qualified in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent professional qualifications in aircraft engineering or power plant systems), you will demonstrate a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) operations with proven competency in power plant engineering and technical services.
You are expected to possess operational airline experience on specific engine types including GEnx-1B, LEAP-1A, and Trent XWB-97 engines with solid understanding of their maintenance and operational requirements. You will bring a solid technical services background in power plant solutions, cost analysis, and contract support activities, with supplier coordination experience and demonstrated ability to work effectively with vendor relationships and technical support providers.
We'd love to hear from you even more if you possess project support experience assisting in Technical Component Handling (TCH) and OEM coordination, power plant OEM or design experience for enhanced understanding of engine systems and maintenance practices, and proficiency in both English and Arabic languages.
