Purpose of Position- To ensure an organization operates sustainably and legally by developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental strategies, policies, and systems that minimize negative impacts, control pollution, manage waste, and achieve compliance with complex environmental laws and regulations.
- To perform in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the سوچ Group policy.
- Full‑time Environmental supervision.
- Responsible for environmental compliance, analysis, and document review.
- Coordination and direct interaction with PMC.
- Custodian of key environmental reporting.
- Maintain Digital Reporting Platform (Monitor‑pro).
- MSc/BSc in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
- 10 years and above with 3 years of relevant KSA experience and relevant project management qualifications.
- Knowledge of necessary requirements from NCEC and other competent authorities for renewal/extension of environmental permits and approvals.
- Develop mitigation measures and monitor plans to PMCs through induction and training delivery.
- Management of environmental training delivery and delivery of toolbox talks to staff and subcontractor representatives.
- Aggregate data from contractors via the PMCs on waste recycling/disposal and chemicals consumption on site.
- Data analysis and use of Digital Reporting Platform (Monitor‑pro).
- Construction safety.
- Preparation of Annual Environmental Performance Report to fulfil NCEC requirements and upload/officially submit on NCEC’s portal.
- Incident/accident investigation and statistical analysis.
- Develop mechanisms for efficient weekly and monthly environmental monitoring and reporting.
- Risk assessment and management, hazard identification.
- Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Emergency preparedness and response; knowledge of emergency response procedures, evacuation plans, first aid protocols.
