Biomedical Engineer

We are seeking a Biomedical Safety Cabinet Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The selected candidate will be responsible for installation, calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance, airflow testing, and performance certification of Biological Safety Cabinets in laboratories and healthcare environments, ensuring safe operation and compliance with international biosafety standards (NSF
49 / ISO).

• Install, commission, and maintain Class II (A2/B2) Biological Safety Cabinets.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Conduct airflow measurement, balancing, and containment validation.
• Perform HEPA/ULPA filter integrity testing (PAO/DOP Leak Test).
• Issue certification reports, safety approval stickers, and compliance documents.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and filtration issues.
• Train laboratory personnel on proper cabinet usage and biosafety practices.
• Ensure compliance with biosafety levels (BSL-2 / BSL-3) and international standards.

• Strong experience in biosafety cabinet testing, balancing, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of airflow dynamics and HEPA filtration systems.
• Proficiency in measurement and testing instruments (airflow meters, particle counters, PAO/DOP rigs).
• Technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and communicate with users.
