Field Core Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of service networks and operation of multivendor telecommunication equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware-related issues using APZ
  21260 and APG systems.
• Utilize the CELLO platform, MO-Shell, FTP, Telnet, and Linux for operational tasks.
• Experience with Dell and Juniper switches is preferred.
• Work with Kubernetes and Wireshark traces; knowledge of AWS or cloud services is a plus.
• Resolve first and second-level HW O&M alarms for CUDB, MSC-BC, MGW, RNC, HSS, and HLR-FE.
• Apply OPIs for boards (SC, PL, & DSG) replacements in CUDB and BSC, MSC, MGW, and RNC.
• Troubleshoot optical fiber-related issues, including loop testing, fiber cleaning, and power testing using VFL and power meters.
• Manage PS Core nodes (EPG, MME, SAPC) and related hardware activities.
• Conduct procedures for HRV and redundancy tests for BSC, MSC, and HLR-FE.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in network operations, specifically within environments.
• Certifications related to network operations or telecommunications are a plus.
