The Road Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring road construction activities on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities- Inspect road construction works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Monitor contractor activities related to earthworks, pavement works, asphalt, curbs, and associated road infrastructure.
- Verify materials used on site against approved material submittals.
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved method statements and safety procedures.
- Report any non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and engineers regarding site issues and daily progress.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, daily reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant authority requirements (MOT, RCRC, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in road and highway construction projects.
- Practical knowledge of road works, materials, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with local and international standards (MOT, AASHTO, or similar).
- Previous experience in supervision or inspection roles is preferred.
