Biomedical Engineer / Project Engineer (Medical Projects)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Entry‑Level Biomedical Engineer / Project Engineer to join our Medical Projects Team
. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career engineers who are eager to gain hands‑on exposure to medical device pre‑installation, healthcare project execution, and clinical environments
.

You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of medical projects
, working closely with hospitals, vendors, clinical teams, and internal engineering disciplines to ensure successful delivery—from site readiness and installation through to commissioning and go‑live
.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support medical device pre‑installation activities
    , including technical assessments and site readiness checks
  • Assist in site preparation activities such as space planning, utility coordination, safety compliance, and equipment layout
  • Coordinate and support project engineering activities during installation, commissioning, and go‑live readiness
  • Review and assist with technical drawings, room layouts, and infrastructure requirements for medical equipment
  • Liaise with hospitals, clinics, vendors, contractors, and internal teams throughout project execution
  • Track project milestones, schedules, documentation, and deliverables
  • Assist with installation verification, acceptance testing, snag resolution, and project handover
  • Support preparation and control of project documentation
    , including regulatory and quality records
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering process optimization
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  • Basic understanding of biomedical systems, medical devices, or healthcare technology
  • Fundamental proficiency in engineering and project tools such as:
  • AutoCAD, Solid Works
  • MS Excel, MS Project
  • MATLAB or similar tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and specifications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Preferred Qualifications 3>
  • Internship, co‑op, or academic project experience in medical devices, clinical engineering, or healthcare facilities
  • Exposure to medical device installation, commissioning, or hospital infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with healthcare and engineering standards, such as:
  • FDA, ISO
  • NFPA, IEC, HTM
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles or entry‑level certifications (CAPM, Agile fundamentals, etc.)
