Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineer
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day performance of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, BMS) across operational assets.
- Monitor and ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs in coordination with FM service providers.
- Review and validate PPM schedules, breakdown reports, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, Civil Defense requirements, municipality standards, and applicable international codes.
- Conduct technical inspections and audits of MEP systems and equipment to ensure asset reliability and safety.
- Support energy management initiatives, system optimization, and cost‑efficiency improvements.
- Coordinate technical resolution of tenant MEP‑related issues, ensuring minimal disruption and SLA adherence.
- Maintain updated asset registers, technical documentation, O&M manuals, and lifecycle replacement plans.
- Provide technical input for vendor evaluations, contract scopes, and service‑level improvements.
- Prepare periodic technical performance reports for FM management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management of completed and operational assets (commercial, retail, mixed‑use, or large property portfolios).
- Proven hands‑on experience managing HVAC, electrical systems, fire protection, plumbing, and BMS in live environments.
- Professional certifications (HVAC, Electrical, Energy Management) are an advantage.
Skills Requirements
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, fire systems, plumbing, and BMS.
- Knowledge of FM contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and asset lifecycle management.
- Understanding of Saudi regulatory and safety requirements.
- Analytical skills for fault diagnosis and performance optimization.
- Report writing and technical documentation skills.
