We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Mechanical Design Reviewer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving mechanical designs to ensure they meet quality standards, industry regulations, and client specifications.
- Review mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with engineering principles and industry standards
- Analyze design proposals and provide constructive feedback to improve functionality, efficiency, and manufacturability
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve design issues and implement improvements
- Conduct design validation tests and document results
- Ensure designs meet safety requirements and regulatory standards
- Participate in design review meetings and present findings to stakeholders
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Contribute to the development and improvement of design review processes
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Solid Works
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and industry standards
- Experience in design review processes and quality control
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential design flaws
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with design for manufacturability concepts
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East is a plus
