PV Solution Manager

Job Description:

As a solutions Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end technical solution design, client requirement alignment, and solution optimization for PV and energy storage projects in Saudi Arabia. You will need to deeply understand the local market, policies, and customer needs, deliver competitive technical proposals, support project bidding, execution, and collaborate with sales, and service teams to ensure successful project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Solution Design & Management
  Lead technical solution design for PV and energy storage projects, including system configuration, capacity planning, equipment selection, electrical design, and economic analysis.
• . Customize and optimize solutions based on Saudi local solar conditions, grid requirements, policy environment, and customer needs.
• Prepare high-quality technical proposals, feasibility studies, and tender documents.
• Client Engagement & Support
  
  • Engage closely with clients (e.g., utility companies, IPP，EPC) to understand their energy needs, investment goals, and operational challenges.
  
  • Provide professional technical consulting, address client inquiries, and guide clients toward optimal technical pathways.
  
  • Support the sales team in client meetings, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations.
• Partner & Supplier Management
  
  • Evaluate the technical capabilities of local equipment suppliers, design institutes, and engineering partners.
  
  • Participate in technical negotiations and selection of key equipment to balance quality and cost.

Qualifications:

• Education
  
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience
  
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical solutions, system design, or project development in the PV or energy storage industry,
  
  • Experience in full-cycle solution design for large-scale PV plants (≥50MW) or energy storage projects (≥20MWh) is preferred.
• Professional Knowledge & Skills
  Proficient in PV and energy storage system design software (e.g., PVsyst, HOMER，CAD).
  
  • Strong technical documentation and client presentation skills.
  
  • Knowledge of mainstream PV modules, inverters, battery systems (e.g., lithium-ion, flow batteries), and supplier ecosystems.
• Language & Communication
  
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken);
  
  • proficiency in Chinese is preferred.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive technical decisions in complex projects.
