Senior Manager - GIS - Mixed Real Estate

JASARA PMC is looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager - GIS for a Mixed Real Estate program. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leveraging Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology to support strategic planning and decision-making processes for a mixed real estate program. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing site selection, land use planning, and development approvals, playing a critical role in the success of our projects.

As the Senior Manager - GIS, you will ensure the effective use of mapping technologies and geospatial data to provide actionable insights. You will collaborate with project managers, urban planners, and other stakeholders to integrate GIS solutions into the overall project framework, ensuring that data-driven decisions enhance project outcomes.

• Lead the development and implementation of GIS strategies for a mixed real estate program.
• Manage the acquisition, analysis, and presentation of geospatial data to inform project planning and execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure GIS solutions are effectively integrated into project workflows.
• Oversee the development of maps, models, and other visualizations to communicate project data and insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of GIS data and analysis, establishing best practices and standards for the GIS team.
• Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies using GIS tools to support site selection and land use planning.
• Provide training and support to project teams on GIS best practices and software tools.
• Stay current with advances in GIS technology and methodologies, recommending new tools and practices to improve efficiencies.
• Prepare reports and presentations on GIS findings and recommendations for senior management and clients.
• Identify opportunities for GIS to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency, promoting innovation within the team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in GIS, with a focus on real estate or urban planning programs (not only project level).
• Strong proficiency with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and related tools.
• Experience in managing GIS projects and leading teams with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Solid understanding of spatial analysis, cartography, and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in the Saudi real estate market is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Proven capacity for strategic thinking and problem-solving in the application of GIS in real estate.
