Design High Voltage Engineer

Overview

JASARA PMC is looking for a knowledgeable Design High Voltage Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring that high voltage systems are designed to meet industry standards and project requirements.

• Perform design assurance for high voltage systems across all design stages (30%, 60%, 90%) in adherence to established design guidelines and standards.
• Provide assurance for testing procedures relating to high voltage installations.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery and effective coordination of drawings and specifications.
• Implement and manage value engineering processes, identifying potential opportunities for cost and time optimization.
• Oversee design-based activities for outsourced design packages, including conducting design reviews and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Work closely with the project manager and integrated project delivery team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate the sharing of engineering and design learnings across projects to foster continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in the design and management of high voltage systems projects.

• Expertise in high voltage system design and specifications.
• Strong understanding of testing protocols for high voltage installations.
• Proficiency in project management and value engineering practices.
