Job DescriptionKafou Energy Company is seeking a Mid-level Project Engineer to play a key role in the company's Energy Services growth. The primary goal of this position is to work directly with clients and serve customers by planning, executing, and closing projects in the energy field. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in MEP projects and proven experience of the project management implementation.
The main responsibilities of the Mid-level Project Engineer include:
- Oversee the design, installation, and testing of MEP and BMS systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and satisfy the client.
- Coordinate the work of MEP subcontractors to maintain project schedules and resolve technical issues.
- Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and other technical documentation.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the project.
- Provide regular progress reports and identify potential issues or risks to the project team.
- Address client concerns and provide technical expertise to resolve any issues.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning process, ensuring the system is properly tested and commissioned.
- Preparing comprehensive handover documentation, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty information.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in the MEP and BMS field.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, both written and verbal.
- PMP certificate is preferred.
- Good technical background.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Team working skills.
- Good English writing skills (proposal making, correspondence) to make comprehensive offers.
- Strong communication skills with capability to negotiate and manage projects plans.
- Good Technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid skills in MS Office Suite (Project, Word & PPT, Excel) are required.
- A background in the renewable field is a plus.
