The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities within the plant. This role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
  • Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Perform troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Utilize CMMS software for maintenance planning and management.
  • Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in upgrading or modifying equipment to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability.
  • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, downtime, and improvements.
  • Train technicians and junior staff on maintenance best practices.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in industrial maintenance.

    • Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 3-5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
    • Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance, and TPM.
    • Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
    • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
    • Hands-on experience with CMMS software.
    • Leadership and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to adapt to new technologies and promote digital transformation.
