Position: Assistant Manager - Project Management - Racecourse SPA 363

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Project Management - Racecourse to contribute to the successful delivery of our state-of-the-art racecourse and related facilities. This role involves supporting the Project Management team in executing projects on schedule, within scope, and budget, while promoting the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate design-related work streams in collaboration with the Lead Design Consultant (LDC).
  • Ensure alignment of deliverables with project milestones and design intent.
  • Assist in managing and tracking RFIs between design teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to RFIs to avoid delays in project execution.
  • Review and monitor contractual obligations related to design scope and deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between design teams and contractors to ensure smooth communication and execution.
  • Facilitate resolution of design-related issues during construction phases.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of design documentation in line with project standards.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes are followed for all design outputs.
  • Track progress of design activities against project timelines and report variances.
  • Coordinate with planning teams to update schedules and mitigate delays.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present progress reports and updates as required.
  • Flag potential risks or deviations and escalate for resolution.
  • Identify design-related risks early and propose mitigation strategies. Maintain a log of issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure all design activities comply with local codes, sustainability goals (e.g., LEED Gold), and project-specific requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or related discipline. PMP certification. LEED GA/AP certification is a plus.
  • 8-10 years relevant experience in within large-scale infrastructure or sports venue projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Willingness to travel for site.
