• Bachelor’s degree in Education, PGCE or equivalent
• English related degree qualification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent professional certification
• Experience delivering the American curriculum at middle school level is highly desirable

To thrive in this role, you will be an articulate, passionate, and skilled English educator with a genuine love of language and literature and the ability to bring both to life in the classroom. You will have a strong command of the American curriculum framework for English and the ability to plan and deliver lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in meaningful and measurable ways.

You will be adept at differentiating instruction to meet the needs of learners across a range of abilities and language backgrounds, and you will use assessment data purposefully to inform your planning and support every student in reaching their potential. Strong interpersonal skills are essential — with students, their families, and your colleagues — as is a collaborative approach to curriculum development and a reflective, growth‑oriented mindset.

Experience in an international or multicultural setting is an advantage, though not essential.
