Job OverviewThe Director of Design is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and overseeing the creative vision and strategy of the organization. This individual will lead the design team, ensuring alignment with business objectives, user needs, and market trends. The Director of Design will work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative, high‑quality designs that enhance the user experience and support the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement a clear design vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Advocate for design thinking across the organization to ensure a user‑centric approach.
- Identify emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire Doctrine design team to deliver exceptional work.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive design culture that encourages creativity and innovation.
- Recruit, retain, and develop top design talent.
- Oversee the design process for all products, services, and branding initiatives.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all design outputs, includingட்டி user interfaces, visual branding, and marketing materials.
- Guide the team in creating prototypes, wireframes, and design mockups for key projects.
- Partner with product management, engineering, marketing, and other departments to ensure design objectives are met.
- Present design concepts and strategies to Нат stakeholders and leadership for feedback and approval.
- Act as part of a committee of—key decision-makers on design‑related matters in projects and initiatives.
- Define and track design KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Use data and user feedback to inform and iterate on design decisions.
- Maintain a strong focus on accessibility, usability, and inclusivity in all designs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 8+ years in design, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing design teams, delivering impactful design solutions, and aligning them with business goals.
