Senior Manager- Design - Museums Culture BU SPA

Qiddiya Investment Company, a pioneer in establishing a unique cultural and entertainment hub in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Senior Manager - Design for Museums to lead the design and operational initiatives for our museum projects. This key role involves overseeing the conceptualization and realization of museum spaces that not only resonate with the architecture and heritage of Saudi Arabia but also create immersive experiences for the visitors.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the design reflects the educational and cultural aspirations of Qiddiya.

• Lead the design process for museum projects from concept through to completion, focusing on curatorial intent and visitor engagement.
• Collaborate with curators, stakeholders, and exhibition designers to develop spaces that enhance the presentation and interpretation of exhibits.
• Establish and maintain design guidelines that reflect the cultural significance and vision of the Qiddiya museums.
• Ensure all design works meet safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards.
• Conduct regular design reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Supervise and mentor design team members, fostering a creative and collaborative atmosphere.
• Engage with local and international architects and designers to incorporate diverse perspectives and best practices.
• Present design concepts to senior management and stakeholders, articulating the vision, purpose, and value of the design solutions.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within cost.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Museum Studies, Exhibit Design, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 + years of relevant design experience with a strong focus on cultural, museum, or exhibition design.
• Proven track record of successful museum or exhibit design projects.
• Strong expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of contemporary museum practices and trends in exhibition design.
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex design challenges.
