Cake Artist -Wedding

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Wedding Cake Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing and crafting elegant, custom wedding cakes that reflect the clients' vision and our brand's high standards. This role requires both artistic skill and technical baking expertise.

Cake Design & Decoration:

• Design and create stunning, bespoke wedding cakes tailored to each client's theme, style, and preferences.
• Decorate cakes using advanced techniques such as fondant sculpting, hand-painting, sugar flowers, edible lace, piping, airbrushing, and tier stacking.
• Create mood boards or sketches for client approval before production (optional based on workflow).
• Stay current with trends in cake design, wedding aesthetics, and seasonal themes.

Cake Preparation & Production:

• Bake high-quality cake layers and prepare various fillings and frostings with consistency.
• Assemble multi-tier cakes, ensuring structural integrity and visual appeal.
• Manage production timelines to ensure cakes are completed and delivered on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to food safety standards.
• Sanitize tools, workstations, and equipment after each use.
• Handle food ingredients properly, with attention to allergies and dietary preferences if applicable.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 25 years experience in wedding cake design or specialty cake decorating.
• Strong portfolio showcasing advanced cake decorating skills.
• Proficiency in using fondant, gum paste, buttercream, and other decorating mediums.
• Ability to design cakes with clean, professional finishes and attention to detail.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Creative mindset with excellent aesthetic judgment.
• Culinary or pastry arts certification is a plus (not mandatory).
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and passion for the art of cake design.
