Cost Planning Engineer

This project offers the chance to join a talented Mace team in delivering a major entertainment and luxury hospitality project, collaborating with renowned architects and global consultants. The project involves extensive infrastructure and built assets, delivered rapidly through Mace as a hands‑on Project Management Consultant, ideal for those experienced in managing both main and sub‑contract packages.

• Prepare contract documents, and support formal contract execution.
• Advise on administration and compliance with building contract terms.
• Measure works, prepare valuations, assess variations, and agree adjustments with contractors.
• Provide cost control, monitoring, and financial reporting throughout the contract period.
• Identify all costs related to design changes, awards, construction activities, and client changes.
• Participate in evaluating contractor and subcontractor claims for delays and additional costs.
• Advise on issuing completion certificates and ensure negotiation and agreement of final accounts.
• Drive process improvements, support net‑zero carbon objectives, and proactively manage carbon impacts during delivery.

• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
• A degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent).
• Proficient knowledge and expertise in specific sector/market of project/role.
• Relevant technical qualification/certification for project portfolio/s.
• Experience in FIDIC forms of contract.
• Sound knowledge and ability to undertake and advise on Contract Administration and Contract Management.
