Havelock One Interiors is looking for a Construction Manager to join our team in Riyadh,Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Role Summary

The Construction Manager should be experienced in civil construction works as wellas large scale interior fit-out projects. The site-based role will be to manageall day-to-day site activities, to coordinate and supervise an internal team ofsite supervisors and engineers as well as sub-contractors and keysuppliers.

Reporting directly to the Senior Management, the CM will be empowered to organize thedistribution of all manpower and materials, hire resources and specialistequipment in order to meet the program and progress requirements, whilst keeping an eye on the project budgets, maintain the overall quality of worksand ensure that the health & safety policy is being implemented and followed at all times.

The CM willbe directly involved in the planning of the works and take responsibility for meeting the targets and deadlines of the project and he will clearly communicate the evolving scope of works to the entire site team and subcontracttrades.

Role Description
  • To provide clear and unambiguousdirection and leadership on site to all trades
  • To plan, coordinate, monitor andmanage the daily activities, including, but not limited to, logistics,material supplies, resource planning, sequencing of all the works, testing and inspections, housekeeping, waste management and health & safety
  • To be the primary point ofcontact at site for all sub-contractors and Client vendors as well as the Landlord and/or Client’s representative
  • To ensure that the Mall /Landlord’s rules and regulations are complied with at all times
  • To coordinate with the commercial team to ensure variations, project changes and contra charges are captured
  • To analyse the BOQ and IFCdrawings to make sure the scope of work is clearly defined and to identifyif there are any scope gaps
  • To make sure that the materialsbeing used on site are following the specification and approvedsubmissions
  • To proactively identify potential clashes of works and trades, to resolve any conflicts and provide solutions on site or if unable to do so, then raise RFI’s orimmediately bring the issue to the Project Manager’s attention
  • To ensure the quality inspections are being executed correctly and any rectifications are handled swiftly and effectively
  • To ensure that the health andsafety procedures are being followed at all times and that the welfare ofthe workers and working conditions are being considered and maintained
  • To attend and, as required, tolead the site progress meetings with various stakeholders, including the Client, the various Consultant’s, and the Clients representatives
  • To provide input to the regular

    Management Reports as required
  • To control the entire testing and commissioning stages as well as de-snagging and final close out and handover of the project
Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a versatile Construction Manager in KSA who has the following experience, skills and personal attributes:

  • Degree /Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry in interiors with at least 2-4 years in a similar role
  • Must have extensive know-how onall site operations and should have managed different sized commercialvalueprojects

    Successful track record ofworking on these types of projects. e.g.
    Hospitality, Hotels, High End Residential, Palaces
    , F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health,Education etc
  • Attention to details and concernfor quality
  • Good people and time management skills
