The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are:
- Precast concrete products and architectural elements.
Oversee and coordinate construction activities for commercial projects, with a strong focus on excavation works, concrete structures, basements, and multi-storey buildings. Ensure that construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, schedule, budget, and quality standards, while maintaining strict compliance with safety regulations and effective coordination among all stakeholders.
Key Accountability AreasConstruction Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, and subcontractors to plan construction activities, define work sequences, and ensure smooth execution of excavation, structural, and finishing works.
- Support project planning, look-ahead schedules, and resource allocation for efficient site operations.
Site Assessment & Excavation Works
- Review site conditions, soil reports, and topographic data to assess suitability for excavation and foundation works.
- Supervise excavation, shoring, dewatering, and earthworks activities, ensuring compliance with approved methods and safety requirements.
Structural & Concrete Works Oversight
- Supervise concrete works including foundations, basements, retaining walls, slabs, columns, and multi-storey structural elements.
- Ensure compliance with structural drawings, specifications, and approved method statements for casting, curing, and testing.
Technical Compliance & Quality Control
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and method statements to ensure technical compliance.
- Monitor execution on site, conduct inspections, and coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Address non-conformances and ensure proper corrective actions are implemented.
Basement & Multi-Storey Construction Management
- Oversee basement construction works including waterproofing systems, retaining structures, and interfaces with MEP works.
- Coordinate vertical construction activities for multi-storey buildings, ensuring structural integrity and proper sequencing.
Safety Management
- Enforce HSE requirements on site, ensuring safe execution of excavation and structural works.
- Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure workers comply with safety procedures and regulations.
Stakeholder Communication & Coordination
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, authorities, and consultants to resolve technical and execution issues.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide clear updates on site progress and challenges.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify construction risks related to excavation, concrete works, sequencing, or site constraints.
- Propose practical solutions and mitigation measures to avoid delays, cost overruns, or quality issues.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate site records including daily reports, inspection requests, concrete pour records, and progress updates.
- Ensure documentation aligns with project requirements and supports claims, approvals, and regulatory compliance.

- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
