The Role
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team and support procurement operations including vendor sourcing, purchasing, logistics coordination, and inventory management. The role involves identifying reliable suppliers locally and internationally, evaluating products and quotations, managing purchase orders, and maintaining proper oversight of warehouse stock and materials.
Requirements- 2–5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
- Experience working with suppliers locally and internationally.
- Ability to review technical specifications and product documentation.
- Experience with inventory or warehouse stock management is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Source and identify reliable vendors and manufacturers locally, regionally, and internationally.
- Request quotations and compare suppliers based on pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Evaluate products technically based on datasheets, specifications, and project requirements.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers to ensure competitive procurement.
- Issue and manage Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers.
- Coordinate shipments and monitor delivery schedules with vendors and logistics providers.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.
- Monitor warehouse stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct periodic stock checks and coordinate with operations regarding material availability.
- Ensure materials and products are procured in line with project requirements and timelines.
