Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are looking to recruit an experienced Energy & Infrastructure Associate into our team in the Middle East, c2-4
PQE. Ideally based in Riyadh, can consider UAE.
The Role
You can expect a great variety of work: working on all aspects of project delivery, whether that is with sponsors, lenders, or procuring authorities. Our projects practice is very broad, but the team can point to ongoing work in the following sectors across the region.
- Conventional and renewable power
- Desalination and wastewater
- Transport
- Social infrastructure
Day‑to‑day work includes risk analysis and due diligence, drafting and negotiating concession agreements, EPC, O&M and interface agreements. Project execution is an important aspect of the role, entailing coordination with advisory firms from other disciplines. Because most of our projects are related to project financing transactions, there is overlap with our project finance colleagues, providing exposure to that practice area.
About YouWe will invest in your ongoing training and development to support your professional goals and help you thrive in your role from day one. Our opportunities are open to all suitably qualified applicants, so to be considered for this role you must meet the following skills and experience.
Essential- 2–4 years PQE at a recognised international law firm.

- Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness.
- Experience with Middle East infrastructure/energy projects.

- Experience interacting with technical and financial advisers.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented and commercially minded.
