Role OverviewAs a Business Developer at Waffy, you will play a key role in driving business growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market reach. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to align business strategies with company objectives. Additionally, you will contribute to operational improvements to ensure the seamless execution of business development initiatives.
The main responsibility is to introduce Waffy’s Business Portal to new clients and markets. Our portal manages transactions seamlessly. Any organization can create an account, add multiple buyers, sellers, partners, and other stakeholders, and no API integration is required. This solution simplifies operations, enhances collaboration, and streamlines business processes.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities, partnerships, and market segments.
- Conduct market research to assess industry trends and competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Negotiate and close deals that align with the company’s financial and strategic goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for key partners, ensuring long‑term collaboration.
- Work closely with operations and product teams to ensure smooth execution of business strategies.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Support the implementation of tools and processes to improve business development workflows.
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align strategies.
- Provide market insights and feedback to influence product development.
- Ensure seamless communication between sales, operations, and finance teams.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in fintech, technology, or financial services.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Experience with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- IT or technical experience is a plus.
- Proactive, customer‑focused, and adaptable to a fast‑paced environment.
