Product Development Supervisor

We are looking for a Product Development Supervisor to lead the end-to-end development and enhancement of insurance products aligned with market needs, industry trends, and the company’s strategic objectives. This role manages the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch and works closely with cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Marketing, Actuarial, IT, Compliance, and Operations Excellence.

• Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for new or enhanced insurance products
• Lead product ideation, development, and enhancement initiatives
• Manage product filing and approval processes with regulatory and compliance teams
• Prepare detailed product specifications and documentation
• Coordinate with Operations Excellence to ensure alignment with processes and performance targets
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams on product launch strategies
• Provide feedback summaries, insights, and action plans post-launch
• Maintain and update the product catalogue
• Coordinate day-to-day product activities and product development roadmaps
• Ensure all products align with the company’s overall strategy

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance Marketing, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance product development or product management
• Postgraduate studies or certifications in insurance, analytics, or performance management are an advantage

• Strong knowledge of insurance product structures and regulatory requirements
• Understanding of underwriting and actuarial functions
• Experience with project management tools
• Strong project leadership and coordination skills
• Market-oriented mindset with a strong customer focus
