We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Proposals Specialist to manage and develop high-quality proposals, bids, and responses to RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs. The role plays a critical part in supporting business development and ensuring compelling, compliant, and competitive submissions aligned with organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process for RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (strategy, technical, finance, legal) to gather inputs and ensure alignment.
- Draft, edit, and structure proposal content to clearly communicate value propositions and win themes.
- Ensure full compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Manage proposal timelines, approvals, and submission processes.
- Develop reusable content libraries, templates, and best-practice proposal tools.
- Support pricing narratives and commercial sections in collaboration with finance teams.
- Conduct post-submission reviews and lessons-learned analysis.
Core Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in proposal management, bid management, or business development support.
- Proven experience preparing proposals for government or semi-government entities.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in a professional and executive tone.
- High attention to detail with strong project management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
- Experience in consulting, professional services, or public sector environments is a strong advantage.
- Certifications in Proposal Management (e.g., APMP) are a plus.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and proposal management tools.
- Familiarity with tender platforms and government procurement systems.
- Strong formatting, document design, and quality-control skills.
