Amazon Mexico Retail team is looking for a data driven, customer‑obsessed, hands‑on and creative candidate to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving business performance through end‑to‑end P&L ownership, strategic vendor engagement, and cross‑functional execution, while facilitating great business relationships with some of Amazon’s highest visibility business partners. The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams and organizations.

You will use data and insights to inform business decisions, optimize the customer experience, and deliver measurable results. This role requires balancing long‑term strategic planning with hands‑on operational execution, ensuring alignment across marketing, operations, and product teams to achieve business goals. You’ll be responsible for looking after a product portfolio, contributing to improvements in the user experience for customers and creating detailed monthly reports on performance.

You’ll have a critical role in shaping category strategy, scaling initiatives, and driving both growth and operational excellence, while advocating for the customer and maintaining a high standard of execution. You’ll be responsible for creating best‑in‑class product roadmap; and making recommendations for effective marketing campaigns.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end P&L for the assigned category, driving revenue, contribution profit, and business performance.
  • Define and execute pricing, promotional, and assortment strategies to capture market share and meet financial targets.
  • Serve as the single‑threaded business owner for key vendors and partners, influencing priorities and securing favorable commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to optimize product visibility, customer experience, and adoption.
  • Advocate for the customer by identifying friction points and continuously improving the experience across touchpoints.
  • Partner with operations, product, and analytics teams to ensure inventory readiness, forecasting accuracy, and seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track KPIs, performance metrics, and category health, enabling data‑driven decisions.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives and milestone reviews, ensuring alignment and operational excellence across teams.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel
  • 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate of completion of studies required
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
  • Experience managing large data sets and utilizing them to drive performance and process improvements
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
