Overview

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in construction or swimming pool projects
. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement of quality materials in line with project requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement activities for construction and swimming pool materials (civil, MEP, filtration systems, pumps, tiles, chemicals, accessories, etc.)
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved budgets
  • Coordinate with project, site, and engineering teams to understand material requirements
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites as per project schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels and control material wastage
  • Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with finance for timely payments
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and local regulations
  • Handle material submittals, approvals, and technical compliance where required
Qualifications & Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices and regulations.
Experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Experience in handling contracts and supplier negotiations.
Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
