An aggressive expansion program together with acquisitions in new vertical markets have created an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic multinational team dedicated to furthering growth plans for the group.

About the role:

To complete in a timely manner low threshold and spot purchases up to SAR 150k PO values, using the established procurement procedures, for the spend categories (Direct, Packaging, Indirect, Capex, Marketing Support & Services) that have been assigned. To assist in meeting the needs of internal customers on a timely basis and extend the expertise gained to peers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Introduce new potential suppliers within spend categories (Direct, Packaging, Indirect, Capex, Marketing Support & Services) that have been assigned.
  • Execute the procurement process to ensure timely completion of all assigned purchase and sourcing requests
  • Manage to achieve cost savings objectives assigned to his commodity group.
  • Monitor supplier performance on a regular basis.
  • Manage and maintain updated records on processed transactions, including Material and Vendor Masters.
  • Handle support requests received from Tier 3 center, coordinate with Tier 2 stakeholders, and respond back to Tier 3 center
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • At least 1 year as a Senior Buyer or Buyer in a large-scale purchasing organization, with individual responsibility for managing annual spends exceeding SAR 7 million, including regular international sourcing.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a similar purchasing organization.
  • Fluency in English.
