Assistant Manager - Governance
Location:
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
- Support the oversight of committee structures that govern the Qiddiya Development Team.
- Assist in managing the Development Secretariat Team and ensure adherence to best practices in committee reporting and minute-taking.
- Maintain a working understanding of all Qiddiya governance structures, frameworks, and delegations of authority.
- Provide day‑to‑day guidance to the Qiddiya Development Team on governance requirements and approval flows.
- Collaborate with governance and compliance‑related functions to align Development activities with Qiddiya policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of governance implementation, focusing on efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Assist in policy development and strategic governance initiatives to enhance compliance and alignment across the organization.
- Support Management of the Development Secretariat Team:
Assist in training Secretariat Team members, mentor junior members, encourage risk awareness, liaise with Committee Chairs, promote collaboration with other secretariat functions. - Support Implementation of Development Committee Governance Framework:
Assist in rolling out the framework, monitor adherence, contribute to reviews and updates. - Training & Awareness:
Help develop onboarding and training materials, collaborate with CDU Centre of Excellence, keep current on governance trends. - Compliance Monitoring & Reporting:
Monitor adherence, assist in internal reviews, prepare governance reports and metrics. - Stakeholder Management:
Act as a support contact, maintain relationships, contribute to feedback mechanisms.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Governance, or related fields.
- 6 to 9 years of experience in governance, compliance, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of governance principles and practices.
- Experience working in a large organization, preferably in real estate or entertainment sector.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English.
