The Accountant is responsible for recording financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and performing account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial data. The accountant works within the accounting and finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Recording Financial Transactions:
    Enter daily journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Preparing Financial Reports:
    Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
  • Performing Account Reconciliations:
    Review accounts, conduct bank reconciliations, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    Record payments and collections, ensuring timely financial settlements.
  • Issuing Invoices and Managing Payments:
    Generate invoices for customers, track collections, and verify financial data accuracy.
  • Coordinating with Auditors:
    Provide necessary documents and information during internal and external audits.
  • Ensuring Compliance:
    Adhere to financial policies and accounting standards (local and international).
  • Financial Data Analysis:
    Provide insights based on financial analysis to support decision‑making.
  • Preparing Tax Reports:
    Assist in tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Qualifications and

    Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2-4 years of experience in accounting specified in procurement department.
    • Proficiency in accounting software.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Should have SOCPA certificate.
