Senior Accountant - KSA

We are looking for a Senior Accountant capable of managing full project‑based accounting for Riyadh Project operations. This role is ideal for someone strong in core accounting and eager to develop into a future finance leader.

• Perform daily accounting entries in Oracle ERP.
• Manage full accounting cycle and financial operations for assigned project.
• Review, verify, and post supplier invoices with required documentation and VAT compliance.
• Handle petty cash, advances, reimbursements, and ensure proper control.
• Upload monthly payroll files to the bank and support salary reconciliations and cost allocations.
• Conduct monthly bank, supplier, intercompany, and project reconciliations.
• Prepare GL reports, Trial Balance, financial schedules, and support month‑end closing.
• Prepare project expense reports, cost analysis, and budget vs. actual comparisons.
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns; support Zakat documentation.
• Coordinate with LC & Procurement teams for imported material accounting.
• Assist in year‑end closing, accruals, provisions, and external audit preparation.
• Maintain strong documentation and internal controls.
• Supervise and guide the Accounting Assistant.
• Monitor project cash flow and highlight variances to the Country Finance Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 5‑8 years of experience in same position (senior accountant, preferably in contracting or construction).
• Hands‑on Oracle ERP experience (preferred).
• Strong reconciliation & reporting skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Zakat, and KSA financial regulations.
• No audit firm background (only candidates with accountant and senior accountant background).
