Job Requirements and Duties- Responsible for all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, customer relations, staffing, paperwork, scheduling, store appearance, standard adherence, attendance & punctuality, transportation, marketing and profitability.
- Operate equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, account for inventory, and clean equipment and facility daily.
- Communicate written and verbal orders to customers and co‑workers.
- Provide correct monetary change, basic math skills, verbal, writing, and telephone skills, motor coordination, computer keyboard or touch‑screen entry.
- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over phone and in person.
- Accurate and quick basic math (calculator permissible).
- Make correct monetary change.
- Take and process orders verbally, written and on telephone.
- Rapid precise motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers.
- Enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Varying weather when removing trash or performing outside tasks.
- Temperature range 36°F to 90°F and above in some areas.
- Sudden temperature changes, food fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, make judgments and decisions.
- Most tasks performed from a standing position.
- For short distances and durations.
- Unloading bulk product deliveries from hand truck (up to 50 lb).
- Stacking up to 72 in. high.
- Large cans (~3 lb 7 oz).
- Pizza sauce (~30 lb) from storage room to front of store.
- Pizza dough trays (~12 lb each, three at a time).
- Move trays on dollies (≈24‑30 trays, up to 7.5 lb force).
- Pull trays when necessary.
- Navigate stairs or climb a ladder rarely to change signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
- Forward bending at the pizza assembly station (30‑45 s each, repeated).
- During front counter and stocking ingredients.
- Occasionally during stocking shelves and cleaning low areas.
- Continuous reaching up, down and forward.
- Eye‑hand coordination continuous; use of one or both hands frequently.
- Frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists shaping pizza dough.
