Project Control Specialist

Riverview, FL (Future Projects in South Lakeland/Polk County, FL)

Nelpro Project Solutions is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support industrial projects within power generation and chemical plant facilities.

This role will begin by supporting an active project in Riverview, with future opportunities supporting additional projects throughout Polk County Florida. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can assist with project scheduling, tracking progress, and coordinating timelines across multiple stakeholders.

This is a long-term growth opportunity within expanding industrial operations.

• Develop and maintain project schedules for industrial plant work
• Coordinate timelines with field teams, subcontractors, and plant personnel
• Track manpower loading and critical path activities
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed
• Provide regular schedule updates to project leadership
• Support shutdowns, maintenance projects, and capital improvements

• 2–5 years of industrial project scheduling experience
• Experience in power plants, chemical plants, mining, or heavy industrial environments preferred
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Understanding of CPM scheduling principles
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be local to the Riverview / Lakeland / Bartow area
