Pay: $17.50-$21.00 per hour (based on credentials and experience)

Sign On Bonus: $500 (Credentials, Experience and Schedule*)

About the Role

The Learning Experience - Rivercrest is seeking a passionate and dedicated VPK/Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of children ages 3-5 years. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude, strong classroom presence, and a growth mindset-someone who truly loves helping children learn, play, and grow.

You'll be part of a supportive team in a fun, engaging, and professional early childhood environment where quality education and strong relationships with families matter.

What You'll Do

* Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment

* Lead classroom instruction for children ages 4-5 using our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum

* Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities

* Complete observations, assessments, and documentation as required

* Ensure the health, safety, and supervision of all children at all times

* Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication, our mobile app, and in-person conversations

* Collaborate with center leadership and teaching team to support enrollment, engagement, and family satisfaction

* Model professionalism, positivity, and a love of learning for both children and teammates

* Be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED required

* ECE coursework, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education preferred

* Must meet Florida DCF licensing requirements for the position

* DCF 45 Hours required (or willingness to complete)

* Florida VPK required courses (or willingness to complete, as applicable)

* National CDA or Florida Staff Credential required if no Early Childhood degree

* CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)

* Must be able to work a full-time schedule (5 days per week)

* Must pass all required background checks and screenings per state and company policy
