The West Florida Division Medical Group continues to grow rapidly to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Over the last six years, we’ve nearly tripled in size with a projection to grow to 835 providers by the end of 2025. With the addition of Advent Health Port Charlotte, we span a broad geography in eight counties with practices in Charlotte, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas, and Polk counties as well as five Care Pavilions.

Advent Health Riverview is located in Riverview, Florida – just minutes from downtown Tampa and the beautiful Gulf Coast. Advent Health is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state‑of‑the‑art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand‑new hospital that opened in October 2024. This $216 million project includes a 209,000 square‑foot, four‑story hospital that provides community members convenient access to emergency care, digestive care, heart care, orthopedic care, women’s care, and urological care.
