• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

• Provides customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash, processes voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Recommends items for sale, trade‑up and/or companion items.
• Maintains counters, shelves, and displays; performs inventory tasks.
• Assists pharmacists with prescription processing, including entering patient data, counting, pouring, and verifying medicine.
• Handles pharmacy system tasks, prescription errors reporting, and maintains compliance with Walgreen Co. policies.
• Handles telephone calls and manual claims for third‑party programs.
• Assists inventory management and ensures compliance with state and local laws for regulated products.
• Manages photo station and web pick‑up responsibilities.
• Maintains store appearance and assists with maintenance tasks.

• Earns and maintains PTCB certification and other required certifications.
• Attends training and completes continuing education credits.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Preferred six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Preferred prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.
