What You’ll DoAs the Staff Development Coordinator:
Design and deliver engaging training that equips our nursing staff to provide the highest quality of care.
Track and maintain education records, ensuring every staff member has the skills they need to succeed.
Be a trusted resource for staff — from onboarding to ongoing education.
Partner with leadership to identify training needs and create a year-round education plan.
As the Infection Prevention Nurse:
Lead our infection control program and serve as the go-to expert for policies and procedures.
Monitor, track, and analyze infection trends in the facility.
Educate staff on best practices to keep residents, visitors, and colleagues safe.
Play a key role in QA/QI meetings and decision-making.
A current RN license in good standing
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare
2+ years in a post-acute, LTC, skilled nursing, or hospital setting
A strong background in leadership, staff education, and infection prevention
Someone who is approachable, organized, and passionate about mentoring others
