Location/Onsite: Riverton, Utah (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)

Our client is seeking a Director of Finance to join their healthcare technology organization in Riverton, Utah (hybrid schedule with 3 days in-office). This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing financial strategy, accounting operations, forecasting, revenue recognition, and scalable infrastructure within a fast-growing, acquisition-driven healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) environment.

A Day in the Life of the Director of Finance

In this role, you’ll serve as both a strategic partner and operational leader, ensuring financial health, reporting integrity, and scalable growth. You’ll collaborate closely with executive leadership to support acquisitions, integrations, capital planning, and performance optimization. From overseeing GAAP-compliant financial reporting to building KPI dashboards and strengthening internal controls, your work will directly impact profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term enterprise value.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute short- and long-term financial plans aligned with company objectives

• Build scalable financial infrastructure to support multi-entity and acquisition-driven growth

• Own the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts

• Develop KPI dashboards focused on margin, productivity, and operational efficiency

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

• Ensure accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements

• Implement and maintain strong internal controls

• Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries

• Monitor revenue recognition related to RCM service contracts

• Analyze collections performance, payer mix trends, and client profitability

• Align financial reporting with operational production metrics (charges, payments, AR aging)

• Support contract pricing strategy and client rate modeling

• Assist leadership in evaluating client retention and risk exposure

• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements

• Coordinate external audits and tax filings

• Establish policies for expense management, approvals, and financial governance

• Support due diligence and post-acquisition financial integration

• Evaluate and implement financial systems and reporting tools

• Automate reporting processes and reduce manual workflows

• Improve data integrity between operational and financial platforms

• Standardize financial procedures across acquired entities

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience

• Strong financial modeling and forecasting expertise

• Experience in multi-entity or high-growth organizations

• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills

• Ability to clearly communicate financial concepts to non-financial leaders

• Healthcare industry experience preferred

• Familiarity with Quick Books and Net Suite
