GSD Global Support Generalist, Distribution Support
We are seeking a Global Support Generalist to join our contact center team supporting the Church Online Store. The role involves assisting members, leaders, employees, and friends with orders, issues, and product inquiries.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (hybrid with at least one in‑office day in Riverton, UT).
- Act as the first point of contact for all customer phone calls and emails, delivering prompt resolution and troubleshooting.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both external and internal customers.
- Clarify customer requirements, probe for understanding, and provide resolution.
- Facilitate timely and complete resolution of current and potential customer issues and inquiries.
- Act as the point person on all order processing and requests.
- Initiate account credits, returns, and general customer maintenance.
- Use product knowledge and gospel principles to suggest alternative and additional solutions to customers.
- Record all customer contact information in the CRM system.
- Conduct outbound customer contacts as inquiries and projects require.
- High school diploma or equivalent; 0‑2 years of related experience preferred.
- Ability to learn computer programs, databases, and websites quickly.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Outstanding customer service skills, with empathy and professional troubleshooting.
- Handles basic to intermediate issues; refers more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
- Proficiency in CRM software and ticketing systems.
- Fast and accurate typing; ability to communicate across multiple channels (email, chat, phone).
- Strong data entry, documentation, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Empathy, active listening, patience, and emotional resilience.
- Effective time management, prioritization, and teamwork.
