Construction Project Manager​/Project Coordinator

Since 1952, California Pools has built more than 80,000 pools, making us one of the largest pool builders in the nation.

We are currently looking for qualified individuals to help build our expanding team. We are looking for those who are hardworking and take pride in their work.

This position will work closely with ownership and operations leadership and is designed to grow into a full Project Manager role over time.

Project Coordination & Scheduling

• Oversee and manage job costing and budgets.
• Assist with daily and weekly crew scheduling.
• Track job progress and timelines.
• Help develop and maintain short-term project schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.

Communication

• Provide proactive job updates to customers.
• Communicating with crew leads to track progress.
• Help resolve issues before they impact schedules.
• Escalate concerns to leadership when needed.

Material & Logistics Management

• Track material needs for active and upcoming projects.
• Order materials and coordinate deliveries.
• Ensure jobs are prepared to move forward without delays.

Documentation & Administration

• Assist with permits, inspections, and closeouts.
• Manage job documentation, photos, and daily logs.
• Support invoicing and changing order documentation.

Software & Process Improvement

• Learn and help implement Builder Trend project management software.
• Assist with improving internal workflows and organization.

• Degree (or nearing completion) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Coachable, motivated, and eager to learn.
• Calm under pressure and able to prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in both office and jobsite environments
• Valid driver’s license
