Highway Senior Superintendent

• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses for assigned tasks and conduct safety inspections.
• Schedule and maintain documentation for required inspections, quality tests, and compliance activities.
• Adhere to dust control, SWPPP, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate and order materials, inspections, equipment, and workforce to meet project timelines, production goals, and specifications.
• Supervise jobsite crews to ensure work meets specifications and stays on schedule.
• Collaborate with personnel and subcontractors to plan and execute work, interpret specifications, and coordinate construction phases to avoid delays.
• Oversee daily project operations and keep the project management team informed.

• A minimum of 5 years of earthwork and roadway superintendent or foreperson work experience leading heavy equipment crews (e.g., grader, track hoe, backhoe, loader, dirt crews, pipe crews).
• A minimum of 10 years of work experience and understanding of all phases of roadway construction (dirt excavation, underground utilities, grading, etc.).
• A minimum of 10 years of reading blueprints and specs for roadway earthwork projects.
• Extensive heavy civil or highway construction experience.
• Proven record of completing large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling software, project documentation, and reporting.
