Job Description
The Executive Assistant – Senior proactively anticipates needs to support a variety of administrative functions for the hospital President of Riverton with significant system influence in a time‑sensitive, accurate, and confidential nature using discretion and diplomacy.
Position:
Monday–Friday. Work setting:
On site at Riverton Hospital, Riverton, UT. Board experience is a plus.
- Partner with the leader on task management and coordinate high‑stakes, strategic initiatives, and serve as a liaison with other internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as an auxiliary member of the leadership team, supporting team goals and priorities, developing procedures and processes to ensure successful execution of strategy, creating and modifying documents and presentations, tracking and influencing performance metrics, and serving as a thought partner to assigned leader(s).
- Provide advanced meeting support including event coordination, remote meeting management, facilitation, creation of meeting materials, and management of multimedia needs.
- Manage executive calendar and email, correspondence, travel/expense administration, respond to inquiries and requests, and support system needs and priorities; may supervise other administrative staff.

- Demonstrated experience supporting an executive director, multiple managers, or a functional area in an office setting or system leader.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an independent manner.
- Judgment and professional behavior while acting decisively.
- Organizational and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience managing calendars, correspondence, travel/expenses, remote and in‑person meetings.
- Interpersonal skills with internal and external senior‑level leaders.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Time‑management skills, ability to prioritize and flex work to align with business operational priorities.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities without loss of composure.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (degree to be verified).
- Experience working in a matrixed healthcare setting.
- Leadership experience (e.g., training, coordinating work, supervising others).
- Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, documents, monitors, equipment and supplies, and to assess customer needs.
- Frequent verbal communication with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors.
- Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy, including frequent computer use for typing and accessing information.
- For roles requiring driving:
Expected to drive a vehicle, requiring sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
