Safe Haven Security is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for using accounting principles to process transactions for activities of Save Haven Securities Services LLC and affiliated companies.

• Prepare and review financial statements to be presented to upper management
• Record financial transactions in the accounting system including:
• Banking transactions
• Payables transactions
• Receivables transactions
• General journal transactions
• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements for completeness, accuracy, reasonableness, and compliance
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare income statement analytics to ensure account components are accurate, complete, and reasonable
• Coordinate with the Business Intelligence team and key operational individuals on accounting matters and new process development as the business continues to grow
• Assist the Accounting Manager with external auditor requests and provide needed information for the annual external financial statement audit
• Assist in the completion and filing of the annual tax return with outside public accounting firm
• Serve as backup to certain Safe Haven departments as needed
• Assist the Treasury department in recording accounts payable transactions and performing other cash management responsibilities
• Assist the Accounts Receivable department with various projects as needed
• Present process improvement recommendations
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations

  BI experience is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building strong, positive relationships when working with internal departments and contacts outside of the company
• Experience working with accounting software and databases (Microsoft Dynamics GP and/or Business Central a plus)
• Passion for accuracy, detail oriented, and self‑starter who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent/relevant work experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
