SUPPLY Technician; TITLE Security Clearance

Position: SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (TITLE 32) with Security Clearance
Location: North Riverside

Duties As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (TITLE 32), GS-2005-5/6/7, you will provide storage and distribution, cataloging or supply identification systems, property utilization, or other related supply activities including those associated with automated or manual supply accounting systems. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list:
* Perform routine and nonroutine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops.
* Responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which requires technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy.
* Plans requirements, both quantitative and monetary, to satisfy customer needs.
* Authorize procurement and is responsible for funds management.
* Responsible for limited aspects of storage management.
* Develop and install local procedures and techniques to achieve and maintain smooth, effective, and coordination storage operations. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the Illinois National Guard and in the military grade listed in the announcement. * Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
* Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Qualifications AREA OF CONSIDERATION:
The areas of consideration for this position, Title 32 Excepted Service (32 U.S. Code § 709), will be in the following manner and sequence:
* The FIRST area of consideration for this position will be all excepted permanent and indefinite temporary technicians within the ILNG.
* The SECOND area of consideration will be all current Federal Employees.
* The THIRD area of consideration will be all Federal re-employment eligible.
* The FOURTH area of consideration will be applicants willing to become T32 Dual Status Technicians and gain ILNG membership.
* The FIFTH area of consideration will be U.S. Citizens. Military Grades:
Enlisted, not to exceed rank of SFC. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : GS-07 Level - MUST possess specialized experience for the GS-07 Level, which includes 12 months at the lower-level GS-06, experience, education, or training in controlling supply stocks and accounting for equipment, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures. Completing complex supply transactions; and/or providing supply operations support. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues.

Experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
