Job Description Job Duties

• Operate all equipment and prepare product.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility roughly daily.
• Deliver product by car to a customer’s door.
• Deliver flyers and door‑hangers or any marketing materials.
• Navigate the delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and private homes.
• Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing stairs (up to five flights).
• Transport bulk products and unload deliveries weighing up to 60 pounds using a hand truck.
• Use a pizza peel, rolling cutter, and other tools required for pizza assembly.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eye and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks; temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler areas to above 90°F in some work areas; sudden temperature changes during outside activities; fumes from food odors; exposure to commercial dust; cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces; far and night vision for driving where indicated.

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Standing most tasks; walking on ceramic tile or linoleum; short‑distance walking; sitting for paperwork; lifting bulk deliveries up to 60 pounds and stacking on shelves up to 72 in.; carrying items from 3 lb 7 oz to 30 lb; pushing and pulling trays on dollies (approx. 24–30 in.; 7.5 lb to push); climbing stairs or ladders to change prices or perform maintenance; stooping, bending, crouching and squatting as required; reaching above 72 in.

upward, downward, and forward; eye‑hand coordination and use of forearms, wrists, fingers; shaping pizza dough; manipulating a pizza peel and rolling cutter; frequent pinching in cardboard box assembly; use of pencil/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, and TDD equipment.

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards; access to an insured vehicle used for delivery.
