The NEMT Driver will be responsible for picking up customers/patients using a company-provided GPS system in a fleet vehicle. This position works independently or with another teammate based on driving assignments.

• Independently run medical transportation operations
• Ensure patients are transported safely from their homes to their place of service and (vice versa) utilize company delivery software
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
• Assume on-call responsibilities
• Effectively communicate with leadership
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Field/Operations position - travels up to 100%
• Follow local traffic rules and regulations
• Follow our standard of operation when transporting customers

• Contingency
  - Upon hire pass a background check and have an acceptable DMV record, physical exam, vaccinations and/or titers, and if applicable Live Scan Fingerprinting (DOH clearance); will be subject to ongoing screens as required by our clients
• Frequently
  - Move, pick up, push weight of 50 lbs. and with assistance up to 250 lbs.
• Frequently – See, read, and distinguish colors, with or without vision aids, for route sheets, rules, policies, and other printed matter
• Frequently – Drive commercial sedan or passenger van for the transport of patients or members
• Occasionally - May ascend/descend stairs and walk-up ramps.
• Constantly
  - Frequently communicate with patients, clients, and/or staff
• Constantly - Will detect, converse, discern, and have ability to exchange information - including through technical communication channels
• Occasionally - Exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions

20 - 21 USD per hour (Riverside)
