Arlington Gardens is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing team. The LVN will provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care while maintaining professional standards and supporting interdisciplinary care planning.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Deliver excellent communication and customer service to residents, families, and care team members
- Maintain an acceptable standard of nursing practice and professional conduct at all times
- Accurately chart nursing notes in a clear, informative, and descriptive manner that reflects care provided and resident response
- Provide resident care by carrying out physician orders, including medication administration and treatments
- Perform all treatments in a manner that protects resident dignity, privacy, and self-respect
- Observe, assess, and document wounds and pressure injuries; promptly notify physicians of delayed healing, deterioration, or signs of infection
- Ensure appropriate wound care interventions are included in care plans, including but not limited to special mattresses, positioning, and nutritional supplements
- Assist with the preparation, review, and updating of care plans related to treatment and clinical needs
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
- Minimum 1 year of treatment (TX) experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
- Commitment to compassionate, resident-focused care
